Shibori is a Japanese form of resist dyeing which can be traced as far back as the 8th century. There are many techniques of shibori dyeing using thread, string, clamps and other types of resists to create a pattern - the study of shibori is endless. I primarily use silk organzas in my work and hope you enjoy my creations.
