"Kos" cowl is one of several new pieces for Fall/Winter. Remembering the beautiful waters around the the Greek island Kos. Using the same techniques as with many of my scarf creations, this simple slip-on cowl is hand felted using a variety of hand dyed and hand-painted silks and fine merino wool. Just pop it on, fold it or tie it if you wish and dash out the door, Kos will make a statement with any coat or jacket - dress it up or down, endless possibilities!
Measurements: 12" height; 30" circumference
*Care instructions: Hand wash is COLD water (never hot) with very mild detergent. Do not agitate while washing, as the fine layer of wool will continue to shrink – just a short soak and a few dips. Rinse and gently squeeze out the access water by rolling in a towel. Gently shape it back to its original shape (blocking). While still damp, set your iron on wool setting with steam and press gently to maintain texture. Continue to block in shape while ironing. Dry flat or upright around a bowl to maintain shape.
